Who is responsible for your data

Neli is operated by Victoria Gabriela Ibáñez Gámez, an individual residing in Mexico. This policy is governed by Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), and equivalent protections apply if you buy from another country.

What we store

Your email and basic account details; what you save in Neli (photos, videos, audio, text, and what you write or say about each memory); the answers you give to Neli’s questions; and technical usage data (which screens you visit, when you open the app) so we know the app is working well — never the content of your memories.

What we use it for

To show you your own memories, organized (Life Map, Memories, Wrapped), to give you back memories and connections calculated only from your own data, and to learn which parts of the app you use and which you don’t, so we can improve it. Neli always asks you before interpreting a memory — it never does it automatically without telling you.

Who we share it with

With the providers that make Neli work, each with a specific role:

• Supabase — securely stores your account, your memories and your files.
• Anthropic (Claude) — only when you use “Ask Neli” (in Remember): it receives the text of the memories related to that question (never photos, audio or your email) to answer you, and doesn’t use them to train its models. Details in the AI notice.
• Vercel — hosts the app (where Neli lives on the internet).
• Resend — sends sign-in emails and account notices.
• Hotmart — processes your subscription payment; we never see or store your card details.

We never sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

Your control over your data

You can download your whole story anytime from Profile → “Download my story”. You can delete individual memories (they go to “Recently deleted” for 30 days before being erased for good). You can delete your entire account from Profile → “Delete my account” — this permanently erases your memories, your profile and your access. If you cancel your subscription, your free account and your memories keep existing; you only lose the Premium features.

Minimum age

Neli is for people aged 16 and over. If you’re younger, you need the consent of a parent or guardian to use the app.

Changes to this policy

If we make an important change to how we use your data, we’ll let you know by email before it takes effect.
